Municipalities in the South Moravian Region are interested in a family friendly community audit, as demonstrated by the participation of representatives from cities and municipalities at the seminar held on 23 September 2021. Jana Leitnerová, the Councillor for Social and Family Policy of the South Moravian Region, opened the seminar by welcoming the participants. She was followed by Marie Oujezdská from the National Centre for Family, who presented the audit project and why it is essential to take an interest in family policy. The Regional Authority presented the objectives and benefits of the family friendly community audit, the conditions of participation, what the municipalities can expect from the region and the individual phases of the audit. In the final practical presentation, the Mayor of Telnice František Kroutil motivated the attendees by describing his own experience and results of the audit in his municipality.
